I have been writing stories for as long as I could write, but I spent the first 20 years of my life dreaming up escapist and fantastical fiction, forgetting that I was sitting on (or technically under) my very own magical story: the story of my brain.
I have had OCD for around 10 years, and it has revealed itself in many ways, requiring a range of techniques to manage it and, perhaps, find the beauty in it. I can't change the way I am, so perhaps I can learn to love it instead.
I am working on a self-help memoir aimed at people like me who overthink, people who feels anxious and alone, and of course fellow OCDs. It covers reconnecting with your desires, a breakdown of how we become the worriers we are, and tons of tips on relationships, work, treatments and self-care.
My darling book baby is represented by The Good Literary Agency.
